The rise of the poor

Chapter 2275 Master, Wake Up

Chapter 2275 Master, Wake Up

The sea was rough and the waves were high. Several sailors, like white streaks in the waves, swam with all their might to Luo Longwen's side. Luo Longwen had already drowned and fainted. The sailors grabbed Luo Longwen's clothes and hair and dragged him toward the ship.

The people on the boat quickly threw down several ropes, which were then used by the people floating in the sea to tie Luo Longwen to his body.

The sailors lifted him from below, while the people on the ship pulled him from above. With their combined efforts, they finally managed to drag Luo Longwen onto the deck.

Luo Longwen lay on the deck, disheveled and motionless, his chest and abdomen not rising or falling, and he was not breathing, just like a dead fish.

"Wake up, sir, wake up."

"My lord, please wake up!"

The two lackeys rushed to Luo Longwen's side and started wailing, as if they had lost their parents; they were extremely saddened.

That's right. Luo Longwen is their long-term meal ticket. By following Luo Longwen, they can eat, drink, and get paid for free. If Luo Longwen is gone, not to mention whether Luo Longwen's family will let them go, their meal ticket will be gone.

"I heard that if someone faints, a couple of slaps will do the trick. Why don't we give it a try?" one of the lackeys suggested.

“That makes sense.” Without another word, the other lackey slapped Luo Longwen across the face twice.

Luo Longwen's face turned visibly red.

"Master, wake up." After slapping him, the lackey shook Luo Longwen's body and shouted to wake him up.

However, it was no use. Luo Longwen still didn't react; he remained a dead fish, completely unresponsive.

"Why isn't the master awake?" Seeing that Luo Longwen didn't react, the lackey couldn't help but look at the other lackey who had suggested slapping him earlier.

"It must be because you're too weak. Let me do it. You're too weak, you sissy. Let me show you what a real man is."

The first lackey said this, then swung his arm and, with all his might, delivered two violent slaps to Luo Longwen's face, one with a front hand and one with a backhand.

bang bang

The sound was like thunder, and the deck shook.

"Master, wake up!" After finishing his beating, the lackey shook Luo Longwen's body vigorously, shouting, "Master, wake up!"

It's all useless; Luo Longwen is just as lifeless as a dead fish.

The only difference was that Luo Longwen's face was swollen.

"Holy crap, look at the master's mouth!" another lackey shouted as if he had discovered a new continent.

"Could it be that the master has woken up?" The lackey, who had just slapped the man across the face, was excited and quickly looked down.

Blood was seen flowing from the corner of Luo Longwen's mouth.

This is from the slap I just gave Luo Longwen. I drew blood from his face, but while he's bleeding, he's still not responding.

"What to do, what to do? You're all just standing around watching, don't you know how to think of a solution? If anything happens to the master, just you wait, your master will definitely not let you off the hook." The two lackeys vented their anger on the captain and sailors who were watching.

"He's drowning. We need to drain the water. We've seen it all before, we make a living at sea," the captain told the two.

"Damn it, why didn't you say so earlier?" The two lackeys were getting impatient.

"I saw you guys doing that and thought you had a solution. But even with our water control methods, we can't save everyone. Maybe we can save half of the ten people," the captain explained. "What if your method is more effective? That's why we kept quiet."

"Hurry up, drain the water!" the two lackeys urged impatiently.

"The best way to drain the water from his stomach is to find a cow. Lay the drowning person's belly across the cow's back, with two people supporting him, and lead the cow slowly forward to drain the water from his stomach. Once he wakes up, give him a Suhexiang pill, or rub his teeth with a piece of old ginger. After a couple of days of rest, he'll be completely healed. If he doesn't wake up after draining the water, then there's nothing that can be done," the captain said.

"A cow?! Is there a cow on the boat? Hurry up and bring it over, what are you standing there for?!" the two lackeys urged.

"There are no cows on the ship," the sailors chimed in.

"What do we do without cows?" The two lackeys were so sad and disappointed that they almost collapsed to the ground.

"If we don't have an ox, we'll get a long bench, put the man across it, and shake the bench. That should do the trick." The captain said, directing someone to bring a long bench. Then, they placed Luo Longwen face down on the bench, with people on both sides holding him up, and others in front and behind lifting the bench and shaking it like an ox.

Swaying back and forth.

Finally, Luo Longwen vomited water, first blood.

"Holy crap, what's that? A tooth?!" Someone with sharp eyes spotted a tooth in the blood that Luo Longwen vomited.

The two lackeys who had slapped Luo Longwen immediately blushed, especially the one who had hit him harder. They knew that the tooth Luo Longwen had spat out had been knocked out by their slaps.

It's more likely that it was done by the second lackey who hit Luo Longwen hard in the mouth, because Luo Longwen's mouth was bleeding after he hit him.

Of course, we can't completely rule out the possibility that the henchman who first slapped Luo Longwen didn't hold back either; he might have knocked out Luo Longwen's teeth with his first blow. That possibility cannot be ruled out.

Therefore, the two exchanged a glance and reached a consensus: this matter must be kept secret to the end.

After vomiting blood, Luo Longwen then vomited seawater, a large amount of it, flowing like water.

This guy must have swallowed a lot of water in the sea.

After vomiting for a while, someone with sharp eyes noticed that Luo Longwen's hand moved and shouted.

"Wake up, wake up."

"Is he awake? It's good that he's awake."

"I didn't expect him to wake up. I thought he was going to die."

The crowd quickly put Luo Longwen down and turned him over onto the deck, where a group of people surrounded him in a noisy commotion.

Finally, after much coaxing, Luo Longwen opened his eyes. As soon as he opened them, he saw a group of heads surrounding him, a group of burly men. Startled, Luo Longwen turned his head to avoid them, but his head slammed onto the deck with a thud, and he cried out in pain.

"You're awake, sir! You're awake!" the two lackeys exclaimed excitedly.

"Where am I?" Luo Longwen was completely bewildered, his memory was blank, and he didn't know where he was or why he was there.

“Master, have you forgotten? We are on a ship. This is the Wang family’s smuggling ship. We are going to visit Wang Zhi by ship.”

The two lackeys explained.

"Oh, I remember now," Luo Longwen finally remembered after being reminded by his two lackeys.

"Ouch, what's wrong with me? Ouch, why does my face hurt so much? Why am I slurring my words? Holy crap, I've lost a front tooth! What happened?" Luo Longwen noticed the pain in his face as soon as he spoke, then realized he was slurring his words. He reached up and touched his face, only to find that one of his front teeth was missing. What the hell happened?!

"Master, we were on the deck just now when a wave hit, the ship rocked, and you fell into the sea. We risked our lives to rescue you." The two lackeys rushed forward to claim credit.
