Chapter 111 What's it to you?
Chapter 111 What's it to you?
Xia Maosheng was puzzled and raised an eyebrow: "What's wrong with me looking at you?"
Old Stubborn: "What are you looking at?"
Xia Maosheng: "What's wrong with looking at me? You have a face for people to look at, don't you?"
Old Jue stood up and pointed: "Take a look at another one."
Xia Maosheng also stood up: "So what if you were looking? You come in and start yelling about being poor, do you think you're some kind of nobody?"
Old Jue stretched out his hand and pointed at Xia Maosheng: "I'm just asking you what you're looking at."
Xia Maosheng: "You only know I'm looking at you, not me? Are you stupid?"
The boss, An Laowu, stood up, reached out and pushed Lao Jue's outstretched arm aside, blocking him from view, and said, "Hey Lao Jue, what's wrong with you today? Are you determined to cause trouble?"
Old Jue glanced at An Laowu, glared at Xia Maosheng, and said, "I just asked him what he was looking at me for."
An Laowu reached out and pushed him back, saying, "What are you looking at? What are you looking at? Have you been quiet for a moment while eating? Do you think you're the most powerful person in the whole city just because you have a thousand yuan?" Pushing the stubborn old man back about ten steps, putting him a little distance from Xia Maosheng, An Laowu turned to Qu the Blind and asked, "How are you? Are you alright? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
At this moment, Blind Qu was already sitting on the stool wearing his half-broken glasses, with a napkin covering his head. A soldier in a cotton-padded jacket was wiping the blood from his neck and ears, while Wei Hong stood there smoking a cigarette. The two soldiers in cotton-padded jackets were whispering something to him.
Blind Qu looked up at An Laowu and said, "It's nothing, Fifth Brother, just a scratch, not a big cut."
An Laowu said, "Look at the mess you've made! Wei Hong, what's wrong with you? Why are you arguing with Lao Jue and then driving a blind man around like that?"
Wei Hong looked at An Laowu and said, "What's wrong? You have a problem with that? Aren't there a lot of awesome people in your area? Come on, one by one."
An Laowu was bending down to right the stool that had fallen to the ground when he heard Wei Hong's words. He threw the stool down, straightened up, and said, "Damn it, you little brat, do you think you're so tough? Do you know who I am? If it weren't for this restaurant, I would have killed you today, you son of a bitch."
Two soldiers in cotton-padded jackets grabbed Wei Hong and dragged her towards the door, saying, "Fuck your mother Wei Hong, are you crazy today? If you want to die, don't drag us down with you! Fifth Brother, you're cursing too, do you want to die?"
Wei Hong struggled to break free, yelling, "Let go, you motherfucker, let me go! I'll fuck him to death! What kind of gay Fifth Brother, Sixth Brother? Who the hell do I know him?" But she couldn't overcome the two men and was dragged outside by their arms. Just before leaving, one of them, wearing a military cotton-padded jacket, turned back and shouted to An Laowu, "Fifth Brother, I'm sorry about today, he doesn't know you. I'll come back tomorrow to apologize."
An Laowu frowned and looked around the room, then waved his hand impatiently: "Get out, all of you get the hell out! Hand over the money and get out. From now on, stay away from me. If anyone comes near me again, I'll break their legs."
The soldier in the cotton-padded jacket standing next to Blind Qu tugged at him. Blind Qu let out a heavy breath, turned his head to look at Old Stubborn, who was still glaring at Xia Maosheng, and said, "Old Stubborn, give him the money."
Old Jue slowly turned around and looked at him, saying, "You've eaten like this, and you expect me to pay?"
Blind Qu, clutching his head, stood up and said, "Fine, I'll pay? You act all high and mighty, cursing this person and flirting with that person. You stubborn old man, you know that? Fuck you, it's not that I look down on you, but what else can you do besides bragging? Who do you dare touch? If it weren't for you, would I have had to drink this bottle today? Are you grateful or are you feeling sorry for me? I couldn't even return the money to you to settle this, you know that? Just pay up and get out of here, okay? Aren't you ashamed of yourself?"
The old man, stubborn as ever, asked the blind man, "You look down on me too, don't you?"
Blind Qu said, "Are you really stupid? I look down on you and support you by taking a whole bottle of blood? It's not you who's bleeding, is it? It's not you who's in pain, is it?"
Old Stubborn turned around, grabbed a bottle of beer from the beer crate by the wall, and smashed it on his head. The bottle shattered with a bang, shards of glass flying everywhere. Holding the bottle neck, he looked at Blind Qu and asked, "Is this okay? Have you got it back?"
Blind Qu's face contorted in rage. He pointed at Old Stubborn and yelled, "You son of a bitch, what are you doing? Now you're all high and mighty? What were you doing earlier? If you're so capable, why didn't you go after Wei Hong?"
The owner, An Laowu, was about to lose his temper. It's said that few men from Northeast China are not short-tempered. This was his own restaurant, so everyone who came was a guest and had to be greeted with a smile. Otherwise, he would have already turned the place upside down. He picked up a bottle of liquor in anger, took a few breaths, and put it down. He said to Blind Qu, "Get this idiot out of here right now, and bring me the money tomorrow."
Then they heard several women scream on the street outside the restaurant. Immediately afterward, a figure pushed open the door and rushed in, carrying a kitchen knife. He went straight for An Laowu and said, "Come on, didn't you want to kill me?" Two soldiers in cotton-padded jackets, whose hats had been taken off, followed him in and said, "Fifth Brother, this kid has gone mad. We couldn't stop him. He grabbed a kitchen knife from over there and came back."
Blind Qu pointed at Wei Hong, who was holding a kitchen knife, and said to Old Stubborn, "Can't you handle it? Go for it! Take him down."
Old Jue went back to his head-down, focused-on state, gritting his teeth, clenching his fists, and staring motionlessly at the ground about a meter in front of him.
Blind Qu stood up and walked over to Wei Hong, saying, "Wei Hong, are you ever going to stop today? I said something after you fired me, are you never going to stop? Are you going to chop someone up and smash up the shop again? Come on, chop me up first?" He walked over and reached out to grab the kitchen knife.
Wei Hong, slightly out of breath from running so fast, raised her left hand to block Qu the Blind Man, saying, "Get the hell out of here! Do you think I wouldn't dare chop you up?" She then raised her right hand, cleaver. Qu the Blind Man blocked Wei Hong's left hand with his left, and then punched her in the nose with his right fist, yelling, "Chop! Chop me! Chop!" Three punches followed, and Wei Hong's nose bridge collapsed, blood gushing out. She staggered, then raised her hand and swung the cleaver at Qu the Blind Man.
Blind Qu raised his left hand and grabbed Wei Hong's wrist, then slapped her face several more times with his right hand: "Chop, chop, you son of a bitch! You were still breastfeeding when I was fighting, you think you're so great? You think you are? You think you are?"
Slap after slap landed on Wei Hong's face, splattering blood everywhere. The blind man, Qu, still held Wei Hong's right hand with one hand and kept slapping his face with the other. Wei Hong had dropped his knife. He had been running so fast earlier and was exhausted, relying only on a burst of energy. Now, he was completely disintegrated and his body went limp.
As soon as the blind man loosened his grip, Wei Hong fell directly to the ground. The blind man grabbed a wine bottle and smashed it on Wei Hong's head. Wei Hong then fell to the ground.
