Chapter 3: Taming Scorpion!

Back at the ranch, Qingyuan first counted the number of Tauros to make sure none were missing.

Qingyuan then herded the Tauros back to the shed, fed the King Tauros a handful of spirit food, locked the door, and thus ended his day's work.

"Hey! Qingyuan, dinner's ready! Come on over, we've been waiting for you!"

Just as Qingyuan locked the door, he heard a shout.

Qingyuan looked in the direction the sound came from and saw Tuomu waving at him.

"Tuomu, you eat first. I need to go see Mr. Tianshi!"

"Okay, I'll save some food for you. Come back quickly, or the food won't taste good if it gets cold!"

"Okay! Got it, thanks!"

After waving to Tuo Mu to express his gratitude, Qingyuan headed towards Mr. Tian Shi's residence.

The entire ranch's accommodations are arranged in a circle. The outermost layer consists of the sheds for the elves like Tauros, Mareep, and Miltank. Qingyuan and Tuomu's wooden cabins are located in the middle. Further inside are warehouses for processing livestock products and storing tools. The innermost layer is Mr. Tianshi's residence.

The ranch was quite large; it took Qingyuan five minutes to reach Mr. Tianshi's residence.

Qingyuan stood in front of the door and gently knocked. A few seconds later, the door was opened by a voluptuous young woman.

"Oh! It's Qingyuan!"

"Excuse me, Mrs. Linghua, I have something to discuss with Mr. Tianshi!"

After Qingyuan entered the house, Linghua gestured for him to sit down on the sofa, and then took a teacup and poured him a cup of tea.

Qingyuan sat down on the sofa, thanking him as he accepted the teacup with both hands.

Just as Qingyuan placed the tea on the coffee table, Tianshi's hearty laughter rang out.

Qingyuan quickly stood up from the sofa and said.

"Mr. Tian Shi, I'm sorry to bother you so late!"

Upon hearing Qingyuan's words, Tianshi waved for him to sit down and said with a smile.
