Chapter 60 Slaughtering the Navy
Chapter 60 Slaughtering the Navy
Smoker was in despair, utterly despairing. Minos was slaughtering his men right before his eyes, and he felt utterly powerless to stop it; the feeling was utterly hopeless.
Soon, under Minos's rampage, the number of soldiers, which originally numbered several hundred, dwindled to only a few dozen.
Minos thoroughly enjoyed everything, and he was very pleased to see the despair on the faces of the naval soldiers.
"When you were being so arrogant, did you ever think about what would happen now?" Minos shouted.
Sympathy is not an option; Minos is determined to teach these sailors an unforgettable lesson today.
Minos's loud question left the already desperate naval soldiers completely bewildered.
In their hearts, wasn't Minos unreasonable and cruelly killing them?
Until this moment, the Navy believed it was Minos's fault and did not think they were at fault.
Indeed, arrogant people are incapable of admitting their own mistakes and tend to blame others.
"Never mind, this is quite boring," Minos muttered to himself, looking at the listless appearance of the naval soldiers.
It's a waste of time to reason with these small fry; they don't deserve to listen. (Too lazy to say they deserve to listen! (⌒▽⌒))
Just then, a cloud of smoke attacked Minos. At the same time, he angrily shouted, "I told you to stop! Didn't you hear me?"
It turned out that Smoker saw Minos preparing to kill another naval soldier, so he frantically charged towards Minos.
The white fist, shrouded in smoke, struck Minos, but to no avail.
Before a powerful body, all weak forces are powerless.
Minos frowned when he saw Smoker's crazed state.
Is Smoker courting death?
That's right. Although Smoker's attack didn't hurt Minos, it did leave him in a bad mood.
“Smoker, it seems you’re still courting death?” Minos whispered.
This time, Minos decided to teach Smoker a lesson he wouldn't be able to move for at least six months.
True to his word, Minos swiftly appeared before Smoker and, with a simple punch, knocked Smoker to the ground.
"Hmph, what a piece of trash. He couldn't even take one punch from me." Minos mocked Smoker as he lay on the ground.
But then, Smoker's intermittent voice rang out.
"Minos, don't be so smug. The Marine Headquarters won't let you get away with this. Fleet Admiral Sengoku and the other admirals won't let you get away with this either," Smoker said, his eyes fixed on Minos.
"Is that all?" Minos said calmly.
“Cough cough, Minos, you will definitely be punished,” Smoker said defiantly.
"Hehe." Minos suddenly chuckled and said, "Smoker, I'm very curious about the icy world in the 16th Branch's sea area."
Smoker, whose consciousness had been fading, suddenly opened his eyes wide upon hearing Minos's words.
"You, you, you." Smoker couldn't speak, he could only stare wide-eyed at Minos.
Seeing Smoker's shocked expression, Minos was very pleased; it seemed he was about to know the truth.
“I completely destroyed the 16th Branch’s sea area with just one strike, but I clearly remember that there was nothing there after I left, so why did the newspapers record that it had turned into an ice and snow world!” Minos analyzed on his own, not caring whether Smoker heard him or not.
"If you're going to say it's a natural disaster, that's just too fake!"
Minos then added, "But if there is one person, I believe he can do it."
"Smoker, guess who he is!" Minos looked at Smoker with a playful smile!
Smoker was speechless, his gaze fixed intently on Minos.
“That’s Admiral Aokiji,” Minos said with certainty, looking at Smoker.
“Aokiji is a Logia-type Devil Fruit user, and I believe he can freeze the entire ocean. But why hasn’t he appeared?” Minos looked at Smoker and smiled knowingly.
“I bet Aokiji is injured!” Minos said with a smug smile, looking at Smoker.
After Minos finished speaking, Smoker's eyes widened even more.
Seeing Smoker's performance, Minos became even more convinced that Aokiji might be injured.
"Oh, I wonder where Aokiji is now? If I knew, I would definitely treat him well," Minos said with a smile to Smoker.
Smoker was instantly agitated upon hearing Minos's words, his body trembling uncontrollably. Minos was simply a devil, relentlessly attacking his psyche.
"Haha," Minos laughed loudly, "Don't worry, Smoker! I'm not going now. I'll deal with those small fry in front of me before I go looking for Aokiji. You can just watch me kill your men right in front of you!"
At this moment, Minos is like a major villain, tormenting others.
Uh, Minos is indeed a villain.
That's alright then. (⌒▽⌒)
Keke, get back to business.
Minos charged directly at the naval soldiers once again, and in just a few breaths, all the soldiers in the square were dealt with by Minos.
Of course, Tashigi remained unconscious, and Smoker lay trembling on the ground.
Minos stood majestically in the center of the square in Loguetown, though the scattered fragments of limbs on the ground seemed somewhat out of place.
The town square in Loguetown is now like a living hell, littered with dismembered limbs and blood.
The air reeked of blood, making everyone extremely uncomfortable. The townspeople watching from afar were filled with fear.
Suddenly, the sound of vomiting rang out. It turned out that the townspeople couldn't bear to watch anymore and were disgusted.
Finally, someone couldn't take it anymore and started yelling and running, scattering in all directions.
Minos, on the other hand, was quietly savoring the whole scene, as if he hadn't done the bloody thing.
What's even more peculiar is that Minos was completely spotless. Not a speck of dust, not even a drop of blood. (The system's power comes with a built-in cleaning function. (⌒▽⌒))
He was still wearing that black suit and a black cloak of justice.
Okay! That was a successful attempt at showing off.
a long time.
Minos turned to Smoker and said with a playful tone, "Your soldiers have been dealt with. What are your thoughts now?"
Minos was truly attacking Smoker's spirit; he knew Smoker was already in pain, yet he still added that comment.
Sure enough, Smoker was so angry that blood flowed from his mouth, and he struggled to raise his hand to point at Minos.
Smoker, whose body and mind were already broken, still didn't raise his hand and passed out.
"Haha." Minos burst into laughter upon seeing this scene.
Minos was even more pleased. It was so satisfying to see the arrogant Smoker in such a miserable state!
Soon, Minos looked up at the naval base, where the real action was about to begin.
Minos guessed that Aokiji was injured, but he didn't know the specifics.
But after only a short while, Minos resolutely headed towards the Loguetown naval base.
He wasn't afraid of an injured Aokiji, and he would even go up and touch a fully healthy Aokiji.
Minos is preparing to leave the East China Sea, so let's leave the navy with a big gift!
A parting gift. (⌒▽⌒)
P.S.: Hehe, five chapters again today. If all else fails, there will only be three chapters tomorrow.
P.S.: Some people might think I have a backlog of content, but I don't. I only started writing this in the last few days.
