Chapter 10, 1 Yang Yuan Stones, and I'll tell you.
Chapter 10, 1 Yang Yuan Stones, and I'll tell you.
Li Yi sighed and glanced at the dense crowd around him.
"Could you ask them to move aside?"
"What?"
"If a fight breaks out, it will affect them."
"Heh, a mere mid-stage Earthly Realm cultivator dares to spout such arrogant words!" Wu Sha was amused by these words. He had fought countless battles in his life, and no one had ever cared about the potential impact on his subordinates before making a move.
"You talk too much nonsense, kid! They're my brothers!" Wu Sha laughed, slapping a henchman on the shoulder, making him wince. "If they die, it's on me!"
"Oh." Li Yi nodded. "Okay then."
Wu Sha didn't waste any more words; he made his move.
With the infusion of Yuan energy, his burly body moved at an astonishing speed. In almost an instant, he was in front of Li Yi. His large hands had swelled up, his fingers were slightly bent, and powerful Yuan energy surged rapidly in his palms, emitting a deep hum.
He struck out with his palm.
This palm strike wasn't aimed at Li Yi's head, but at his chest. The intention wasn't to kill him, but to send him flying, to force him to his knees, and to make him a laughingstock.
Li Yi turned to the side, the palm wind grazing past his chest.
"Sizzle!"
The hem of his clothes was torn.
Li Yi glanced down at it.
Wu Sha's second palm strike had arrived, this time aimed at his face. The wind from the palm whistled, pressing down on the surrounding air and causing it to rustle. If this palm strike landed, half of his face would collapse.
Li Yi leaned back, and the wind from the palm swept past the tip of his nose, blowing his hair backward.
Wu Sha's third palm strike followed immediately. His palm techniques were continuous, one palm strike followed by another, giving Li Yi no chance to catch his breath. This was the signature move of the "Wind-Tearing Hand," a series of palm strikes that were seamless and impenetrable, like the wind that could penetrate any opening.
Li Yi didn't take the blow head-on. He retreated three steps, each step landing precisely in the gaps between the black palm strikes. First step: avoid the first palm strike; second step: avoid the second palm strike; third step: create distance.
Wu Sha's fourth palm strike missed its mark.
He stopped and stood still, staring at Li Yi with an even stronger fierce glint in his eyes.
"You dodged pretty quickly," Wu Sha said with a hint of mockery in his voice.
Li Yi didn't reply, but looked down at his clothes. His shirt was torn, and the left sleeve was ripped.
"Heh." He chuckled softly, a sound so gentle that it sent a chill down Wu Sha's spine.
Wu Sha frowned: "What are you laughing at?"
"I'm laughing at you, you don't even realize you're about to die!"
Li Yi raised his head, and his double pupils finally looked directly at Wu Sha.
Wu Sha sensed something was wrong. Li Yi's eyes had changed; something seemed to be flowing deep within his pupils.
"You're about to die? Are you out of your mind?" Wu Sha seemed to have heard the biggest joke in the world.
The next second, Li Yi took a step forward.
Unlike the previous tentative movements, this was a true Qilin Step.
With that step, the bluestone slab beneath his feet shattered instantly, cracks spreading out like an invisible snake, along with countless mysterious runes.
Wu Sha's expression changed, and he leaped up, avoiding the runes.
The henchmen behind him weren't so lucky; Li Yi's single step resulted in the deaths and injuries of over a dozen men. Those unaffected by the attack quickly scattered, making room for the two. Most of them were only at the Body Tempering Realm; this kind of battle was no longer something they could get close to.
The Black Demon was in the air, with nowhere to gain leverage.
Li Yi was already standing where he had landed, waiting for him.
Wu Sha's pupils shrank sharply, and he forcibly twisted his body in mid-air, striking down with his palm.
The palm strike collided with Li Yi's shoulder.
"Bang!"
Wu Sha used the force to bounce away, landing several feet away. He stumbled and took several steps back before regaining his balance.
That palm strike was almost his full-force attack, and it landed on Li Yi's shoulder.
But Li Yi didn't even flinch.
"You..." Wu Sha's expression changed. He was at the early stage of the Heavenly Origin Realm, and a single palm strike was enough to easily shatter a monument and split a stone. However, when he struck Li Yi's shoulder, the other party did not budge.
"Your palm technique is very fast," Li Yi said.
Wu Sha stared intently at him.
"But your power is too scattered," Li Yi continued. "Each palm strike hits a different spot, without any accumulation. The difference between the first and fourth palm strikes is not significant."
"So what?" Wu Sha gritted his teeth. "You might be able to withstand three or five of my blows, but can you withstand ten or twenty?"
"Heh, why should I accept?" Li Yi looked at Wu Sha as if he were a fool.
Upon hearing this, Wu Sha was completely enraged. He had just mobilized his Yuan Power when Li Yi made his move.
His figure disappeared from the spot.
Wu Sha's pupils contracted as he felt a gust of wind rush towards him. Before he could even see when Li Yi moved, he had already taken a solid kick to the chest.
"Bang!"
With a tremendous force, Wu Sha was struck as if by a battering ram, his entire body arched like a shrimp, and he flew backward, crashing heavily into the stone wall behind him, causing the wall plaster to flake off in a flurry.
"Cough!" Wu Sha coughed up a mouthful of blood, looking up in disbelief. "You...you're not a mid-stage Earthly Realm cultivator?!"
Li Yi walked slowly over, each step causing the bluestone slabs beneath his feet to groan under the weight, spiderweb-like cracks spreading along his footprints. He lowered his eyes, looking down at Wu Sha sprawled on the ground, and chuckled lightly, saying in a calm voice, "It seems you value cultivation level quite a bit."
Wu Sha struggled to get up, but as soon as he propped himself up halfway, Li Yi stepped on his chest.
His Yuan Power seemed frozen under that foot, unable to be mobilized at all. He could only watch helplessly as the other party's double pupils slowly rose, the dark patterns churning deep within the pupils like an abyss ready to devour him.
"You... what exactly are you?!" Wu Sha's voice finally betrayed his fear.
Li Yi exerted a little force with his toes, and Wu Sha's ribs made a teeth-grinding "crunch" sound.
"Ten thousand Yang Yuan Stones, and I'll tell you," Li Yi said, each word piercing Wu Sha's ears like an icicle.
Wu Sha's face turned deathly pale, finally realizing he had kicked a hornet's nest. He wanted to beg for mercy, but as soon as he opened his mouth, he met Li Yi's cold eyes. There was no anger, no mockery, only a deathly indifference, as if he were just a pebble on the roadside, ready to be crushed at any moment.
"The Wind-Tearing Hand technique, a series of rapid strikes, yet it couldn't even scratch me." Li Yi's voice continued, filled with undisguised mockery. "You think you can win with this kind of chaotic palm strikes?"
He lifted his foot, and Wu Sha just breathed a sigh of relief when he saw a layer of dark light suddenly appear on Li Yi's toes, with Yuan energy surging and runes flashing under his feet.
"What...what are you going to do?!" Wu Sha's voice was already trembling with sobs.
