Chapter 42 Trolls 2
Chapter 42 Trolls 2
The space here was small, and Hermione and Landric ran not far before they ran out of space.
"Yes, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Hermione cried in despair.
She never imagined that her momentary anger would lead her into such a dangerous situation, nor did she expect that Landric would notice her absence and come looking for her.
She's the one who ruined Landric!
Landric's face showed a hint of anxiety, but his eyes remained calm.
"Hermione!"
A huge wooden club smashed down on the troll's head, successfully diverting its attention.
As the giant turned around, the true face of the "hero" who had been smashing the wooden club was revealed.
Hermione, as expected, showed a mixture of surprise and anger.
"Harry? You two..."
"Don't say anything more, Hermione, let's save our lives first."
That voice sounds like it's filled with misery.
Hmm, yes, all three of them seem to have had pretty tough lives.
An accident happens once a year, each one different, and each one deadly.
The protagonist's halo is really strong; he always returns safely.
Everything proceeded as originally planned; the three of them seemed to be tacitly avoiding Landric and silently drawing the troll's attention.
Landric stood aside and watched quietly as the three people struggled to survive.
Feeling a bit bored, he yawned, checked the time, and his face instantly turned even paler. With a "thud," Landric collapsed.
Hermione and Ron really tried their best to survive, but Harry, that traitor, probably had nothing but Landric on his mind and his attention was entirely focused on Landric.
The moment Landric fell, Harry's panicked voice rang out, as if someone was going to kill him.
"Landrico!!"
"Yugadimurleviosa!"
The enormous wooden club floated up and landed directly on the giant's head.
saved!
Harry's shout of "Landrico" didn't wake Landrico; instead, it sent the professors outside into a frenzy.
With another loud "bang," the door shattered.
Snape led Professor McGonagall into the bathroom.
My eyes immediately went to Harry Potter, and then I saw Landric next to Harry.
Then his pupils suddenly contracted.
"Rand!!"
Snape looked at Landric's pale face and felt a sharp pain in his heart, as if his heart was being tightly gripped.
Almost in a blur, he rushed forward, grabbed Landric, and ran towards the medical bay.
Hermione's brows furrowed.
Without a word, Harry immediately followed, and Hermione, realizing what was happening, ran after Harry as well.
Ron, left all alone: ...ber, potion, potion, I'm left to face Professor McGonagall alone.
However, Professor McGonagall was no longer in the mood to reprimand them. Her concern for Landric took over, and she went with the group.
Snape moved with lightning speed, as if afraid of being a step too slow.
Only when they handed the child over to Mrs. Pomfrey and received clear assurances that Landric was not seriously ill did they finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Of course, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.
Once the fear subsided, anger grew wildly in Snape's heart.
Veins bulged on his forehead, and his deep eyes flashed a terrifying crimson. Without hesitation, he fired at the Gryffindor trio, "I assure you, if you were in Slytherin, and your fate were in my hands, all three of you would be on the train home tonight!"
Landric: Wow, that's quite a lot of pressure.
Landric lay on the bed with his eyes closed, listening quietly as the Slytherin Snake King sprayed venom at the three lion cubs.
Wow, he's so smart. He fainted early on, so he can't get scolded in any way.
The three of them didn't dare utter a single word despite being scolded.
Only when Professor McGonagall sensed that Snape had vented some of his anger did she dare to speak slowly: "Perhaps the three of you can give me an explanation!"
Before Professor McGonagall could finish speaking, Hermione immediately interrupted her: "I'm sorry, Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape, I... I saw a troll in a book, and I thought... I could deal with it..."
Hermione stammered, and Snape's anger flared again: "Miss Granger, because of your arrogance, your weed-filled brain hasn't given a single thought that someone might die because of you!"
Hermione's eyes welled up with tears, and her head hung low.
Harry and Ron dared not say anything more at this moment.
"Deduct 20 points! Every single one of you!"
Professor McGonagall offered a way out, and Hermione hesitantly agreed.
"Of course, for the bravery of Mr. Potter, Mr. Weasley, and Mr. Rozier, each of you will receive an additional 10 points!"
"Miss Granger, I hope this mistake won't happen again, okay?"
"Of course...Professor McGonagall."
Snape listened to their conversation. "I think you may leave?"
I don't know if the word "leave" hit a nerve with Hermione and Harry, but they both exclaimed, "No!"
"Um, Professor Snape, what we mean is... perhaps we could stay and look after Landric?"
"Yes, yes, Professor Snape, we can take care of Rand!"
Harry started with zero frames and quickly caught up with Hermione's rhythm.
Unsurprisingly, Snape's face clearly showed disgust.
Just as he was about to speak, he saw Harry clasping his hands together and blinking his eyes in a pleading manner.
Snape stared into those eyes, momentarily stunned, then quickly snapped back to reality; that face made him want to vomit.
They refused the two people without hesitation and kicked them out.
After Professor McGonagall confirmed that Landric was alright, she did not treat him in the medical room (of course, Mrs. Pomfrey would not allow it either).
Snape stood before Landric's bed, looking at the pale little figure on it, a surge of anger welling up inside him, yet he forced himself to suppress it.
You can't scold him, you can't scold him. The child has finally gotten close to him during this time. What if you say something wrong and make him unhappy?
Snape's forehead veins were practically bulging, and it took him a tremendous amount of effort to resist spraying venom at Landric.
However, after this incident, his tone wasn't exactly pleasant.
"Well, our Slytherin Prefect, perhaps you could tell your hardworking Headmaster what you're planning to do today?"
The room was completely silent.
Snape nearly went berserk.
"Mr. Rozier! I don't think your ears are injured, are they? Or did the troll damage your brain, making you unable to understand human speech?"
Snape took a deep breath.
Landric remained unmoved, saying, "Think what you want, I'm unconscious anyway."
"Heh, it seems Mr. Rozier is quite badly injured. How about he drink some potion?"
Faced with Landric's nonviolent noncooperation movement, Snape simply picked him up and carried him.
You're not going to talk? Fine! Take your medicine!
Landric: !! Wait...wait a minute!!
