Chapter 60 An Encounter with Abraxas Malfoy
Chapter 60 An Encounter with Abraxas Malfoy
Gellert Grindelwald's departure didn't seem to change anything in my life or Tom Marvolo Riddell's life, and we lived a peaceful life for a while.
A year has really gone by quickly. I feel like I need to go back home and figure out a way to escape.
On a quiet summer afternoon, sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting dappled patterns on the ground.
In front of my house, a snow-white owl suddenly descended from the sky, its wings flapping and bringing a gentle breeze.
The owl landed steadily on the mailbox in front of the door, its claws gripping the edge of the mailbox tightly.
Its eyes are bright and sharp, exuding an air of mystery.
This owl has snow-white feathers, dotted with black spots, making it exceptionally beautiful.
Suddenly, the door opened and Tom Marvolo Riddell walked out.
His eyes were filled with surprise, but his face remained as cold as ice. He looked at the owl and took a letter from its beak.
It was his Hogwarts acceptance letter, and he stood at the door reading it.
Tom Marvolo Riddell was deeply moved after reading the letter.
He had been waiting for the opportunity to study magic at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and now his letter had finally arrived.
I stood on the second floor looking down at Tom Marvolo Riddell. This time, I, the butterfly, have changed some things again.
Would Tom Marvolo Riddle have been less hostile towards Dumbledore if he hadn't appeared?
“Come on, I’ll go to Diagon Alley with you.” When Tom Marvolo Riddle was walking home with the letter, he saw me, dressed neatly, coming down from the second floor.
“Hmm.” Through our time together, Tom Marvolo Riddell sensed that I meant him no harm. Although I sometimes enjoyed teasing him, I was genuinely kind to him.
"Oh ho~ You're dressed quite well today, the color looks great on you." It's rare to see Tom Marvolo Riddle wearing a dark red outfit today.
"Shouldn't I be thanking you!" Tom Marvolo Riddell originally only liked to wear black, but the person in front of him had bought him clothes in all sorts of colors. It was a wonder that he could find a set of clothes in a less bright color in his closet.
"Don't mention it, you look handsome like this too." He smiled at Tom Marvolo Riddle. In the future, Old Voldemort would wear clothes that looked like a mop, but now that he looked so good, how could he not wear something different to do with the beauty that God had given him?
In short, it's something I want to see myself; different colors of Lao Fu every day are pleasing to the eye.
“Let’s go.” Tom Marvolo Riddle didn’t realize he’d gotten used to holding my arm, and I used 'Phantom Transformation' to take him to Diagon Alley.
"Can you go buy your school supplies yourself? I'll wait for you at Florin's Ice Cream Shop." I handed Tom Marvolo Riddle a bag of Galleons. We've been to Diagon Alley many times, and I'm not really interested in shopping anymore. I'll just give him the money and let Tom Marvolo Riddle go buy his own things. I'd better find somewhere to eat.
"Okay." Tom Marvolo Riddle also discovered during their time together that although I look strong, I am also a lazy person. Except when I am reading, I am lazy all the time.
Watching Tom Marvolo Riddell disappear into the crowd, I walked toward Florin's Ice Cream Shop in the distance.
Florin's Ice Cream Parlor in Diagon Alley is always filled with a sweet, magical atmosphere.
There weren't many people in the shop; only a few were talking quietly, and a faint sweet smell filled the air.
I sat by the window, enjoying the ice cream I had ordered, and I felt wonderful.
On a sunny afternoon, a little boy dressed in a black robe walked into the store.
He had platinum blonde hair, neatly combed, and a pair of sharp gray eyes set in his pale face, revealing an innate arrogance.
It turned out to be Abraxas Malfoy, the heir to a pure-blood wizarding family.
His father was a high-ranking official in the Ministry of Magic, and his mother was a beautiful and noble witch.
From a young age, Abraxas Malfoy was instilled with the idea of pure-blood supremacy, believing himself to be superior and other non-pure-blood wizards to be inferior.
Abraxas Malfoy found a quiet corner in the store, sat down, and ordered a chocolate ice cream.
He elegantly stirred the ice cream with a spoon, but his eyes kept scanning the other customers in the store.
I was taking small bites of my ice cream when I suddenly felt someone staring at me.
When I looked in that direction, oh ho~ Abraxas Malfoy.
I don't want to have any contact with him. I know he's an arrogant and conceited person, and he wouldn't respect someone like me.
He picked up his ice cream cup and sat down at the table opposite me.
He looked at me, a slight upturn at the corners of his mouth revealing a disdainful smile.
"What are you doing here?" he asked, his voice deep and magnetic.
"I'm eating ice cream," I replied, wanting to roll my eyes. Why would he ask such a stupid question?
"Do you know who I am?" he asked, his eyes full of provocation.
“It’s just Abraxas Malfoy,” I replied. So what if it’s just the Malfoy family? There wasn’t a hint of fear in my eyes.
“Do you know my family?” he asked, his voice filled with pride.
“A pure-blood wizarding family,” I replied. What’s so great about that? They’re acting superior just because they’re eating ice cream.
“Do you know how powerful my family is?” he asked, his voice full of threat.
"Your family is powerful, so what?" I replied. What's wrong with this person? Did he come to me just to show off his family?
Abraxas Malfoy looked at me, his eyes filled with doubt.
He didn't understand why I was so calm in front of him; he thought I was either afraid of him or envious of him.
“Aren’t you afraid of me?” he asked, his voice filled with surprise.
"Why should I be afraid of you?" I retorted. Was there something wrong with my facial expression? Why did he have such a self-righteous feeling?
Abraxas Malfoy looked at me, his eyes filled with anger.
He didn't understand why I was so disrespectful to him; he thought I would be very respectful to him.
“You’ll regret this,” he said, his voice laced with threat.
"Regret?" I replied. I just came here for an ice cream, what's wrong with this guy?
Abraxas Malfoy stood up, his eyes filled with disdain.
He turned and left the ice cream shop, leaving me sitting there alone.
I watched his figure disappear through the door, speechless with despair.
I know that there will be no intersection between us. He is just a proud and arrogant person, and I am just a passerby in his life.
I continued eating my ice cream, enjoying this moment of peace.
