Chapter 326 Finally, they graduated from 7th grade.

As morning light streamed into the lounge through the stained glass, Draco nestled in my arms, tiny water droplets still clinging to his eyelashes.

He opened his eyes drowsily, met my smiling gaze, and his ear tips instantly turned red again: "Ayers, you...you cheated."

His voice was hoarse from just waking up, but he reached out and hugged my waist tightly, as if afraid I would disappear.

I smiled and kissed away the moisture from the corner of his eye, as the morning bells of Hogwarts rang out from outside the window.

Draco suddenly buried his face in the crook of my neck and mumbled, "Don't tell anyone..." His voice trailed off, "or I'll..." I hugged him tightly and kissed the top of his head: "I know, my little master."

In the candlelight, our overlapping shadows cast gentle outlines on the ground, and the serpentine tapestry in my lounge swayed gently in the breeze, as if guarding this secret that belonged only to us.

Golden morning mist still lingered around the Hogwarts Tower spire when a flock of owls swept across the breakfast table like a dark cloud.

I had just taken a bite of my jam-smeared toast when a parchment with the school emblem sealed with wax was precisely slapped onto my plate, its edges still stained with crumbs of pumpkin pie that Fred had secretly fed to the owl.

"All A's? This is just not fair!" Fred wailed dramatically, his red hair standing on end like a bird's nest, the report card with "Good" printed on it crumpled in his hand.

George, as if by magic, pulled two badges from his robes. One was engraved with "Future Candy King," and the other was crookedly inlaid with "Professor Ayers' Number One Follower." "We've always said that with you here, any exam is as easy as eating butterbeer!"

The magical star trails on the dome of the auditorium suddenly froze, and countless tiny starlight poured down like a galaxy. Amidst the gasps of astonishment from the crowd, Professor McGonagall rose slowly up on the floating steps.

Her lion-tail-patterned robe swept across the emerald-green table, and the light emanating from the tip of her wand illuminated my face: "Special commendation to Slytherin's Ayers—seven NEWTs with perfect marks, the best in the house for the past ten years!"

Thunderous applause instantly drowned out the gasps of surprise.

Draco straightened his back abruptly at the end of the Slytherin table, his platinum-haired hair turning into flowing molten gold in the sunlight streaming through the stained-glass windows.

He raised his chin arrogantly, his silver-grey eyes shining brightly, as if he himself were the one receiving the praise.

Theodore beside him coughed lightly to cover the smile on his lips, his slender fingers tapping out a cheerful rhythm on the table.

On the professor's chair, Severus Snape quietly lowered his crossed arms, and a rare smile curved the corners of his lips beneath his black robe.

A few seats away, Sirius Black had already half-stood up from his seat, waving his hands exaggeratedly and clapping, his fiery red robes fluttering in the air.

From the Gryffindor long table, Harry's emerald eyes were full of sincere congratulations; Ron whistled loudly, and Hermione excitedly waved her textbooks above her head.

The most eye-catching were Fred and George.

The twins simultaneously pulled out sparklers from their robes, their wands tracing spiral paths.

With two deafening explosions, two clusters of fireworks burst open in the sky above the auditorium. One blossomed into the golden word "Excellent," while the other transformed into the ever-blinking Slytherin serpent emblem.

The moment Professor McGonagall put on a stern face, George suddenly produced a graduation cap covered in bells and placed it on my head. The sound of the bells mixed with laughter, turning the air in the entire auditorium into a honey color.
