......
"So, how come MDR came down with him?"
When they went up, there was only AN94, but when they came down, there were AN94 and MDR, which 45 found a little puzzling.
MDR shrugged unhappily: "Ugh, the commander sent me. He said that if I have time during my live streams, I should also check the monitoring situation, so he sent me down here to connect to the monitoring network."
To put it bluntly, we can't just leave MDR upstairs streaming games. Her location has better lighting, a better view, and a lot of equipment, so monitoring and other similar tasks are undoubtedly assigned to her.
Imagine MDR glancing at the monitor every now and then while livestreaming upstairs; the girls think MDR is more like a modern-day security guard...
"Alright, let's go then."
With M4 and AK12, the three men, as the captains of the three squads, had no objections and let her follow along.
This wasn't the first time they'd installed surveillance cameras, but at least this time they didn't have to do it in the snow.
......
The girls pushed open the back door and entered the alley that Luo Fan had mentioned. They glanced around briefly; it was their first time entering the alley behind this bar.
AR15 nodded: "This place isn't very big. It looks like it's not just a hidden warehouse, but also a great place for us to 'dump our trash'."
"Well, as long as we install the surveillance cameras, check the surrounding area, and 'clean' it regularly, no one will notice if we 'throw some trash' here, right?"
45. They were on the same page, and he couldn't help but chuckle at his own somewhat gloomy thoughts.
I don’t know if Mrs. Grey considered the environmental factors of the back alley when she bought the bar, but it is indeed a good place to dispose of some trash.
No wonder the commander wanted to install surveillance cameras to check the situation here in real time. It's like a back door to the base; you can leave from here, dump your trash here, and it's easy to hide and move things around.
To the left of the back door, there is another small room. The eaves of the rooms are connected to each other; this is the warehouse the commander mentioned.
However, it looks a bit simple from the outside, but this is a better way to deceive people.
272 Completion
"Twist 26 degrees to the left, yes, yes, continue, good, stop!"
"AK15, tilt it down a little bit, a little bit more, okay, just like that!"
"M4, just put it up there. The wide-angle lens from this position is enough to see the entire back alley."
"416, don't touch that yet!"
MDR casually sat on the roof of a truck, directing the girls to install surveillance cameras. She had already connected to the networks of various cameras and could determine whether the camera's location was appropriate simply by looking at the camera's first-person perspective.
Nowadays, not only the higher points, but also every alleyway leading to the back alley has been equipped with surveillance cameras. Even the areas that were not covered by the original surveillance cameras have been covered by them.
They even hacked into and gained control of the official surveillance systems that were originally installed on the premises. Now they can access the footage from these surveillance cameras and modify the footage and timeline.
"That should complete everything."
MDR quickly scanned each monitoring screen, confirming once again that there were no errors in angle or position.
The girls returned to the truck and waited for the MDR's inspection results.
Perhaps because it's winter and snowing, the back alley is still clean, without much garbage or sewage flowing around. But maybe in a season or two, it will turn into a residential building like those in Resident Evil 6 (the game)...
Anyway, they were too lazy to clean.
"MDR, how is it? If everything's alright, we'll head back now."
Impatiently waiting, 416 shouted from beside the truck and patted the truck's body.
MDR was also a little annoyed: "Wait a minute, what's the rush? I just woke up and was called downstairs... Wait, who are these guys?"
MDR, who was still checking the surveillance footage, suddenly spoke.
"What's wrong? Is the security camera not installed properly?"
45 turned around and leaped nimbly onto the top of the truck, where he watched the surveillance footage with MDR.
No wonder MDR suddenly felt confused...
In the surveillance footage of a back alley, several young people wearing baseball caps were sitting on the lids of brand-new, clean trash cans in the alley, using their laptops.
Their actions themselves were not suspicious, but MDR detected an intrusion in the firewall it had set up on the monitoring network.
Only in this surveillance footage is the suspect seen using a laptop, but the content on the laptop screen is not visible from this angle.
"AK15, Lane 3, go check it out and force them to leave."
MDR shouted nonchalantly, handed the laptop to 45, and then lay down directly on the roof of the truck, where the snow was being covered by the canopy.
She wasn't worried at all about the other party being able to breach her firewall, and there was no need to deliberately try to control it. She could simply let the AK15 give them a warning, and if possible, it would be even better if they would use this as a warning to others with similar ulterior motives.
AK15 showed no objection, put his right hand into his coat pocket, and walked towards the location of Lane 3.
Next, they can wait for the AK15 to "return in triumph" and then they can go back.
......
"Oh, here we go."
45 looked at the surveillance footage of Lane 3 and revealed a smile that any onlooker would have.
In the picture, there is a figure wearing a black baseball cap, with beautiful silver hair and a gray coat.
The surveillance footage was very clear; her right hand was in her pocket, and judging from the shape of the object in the pocket, one could roughly guess what it contained.
AK15 walked towards the three young people on the trash can lid, making no attempt to conceal her presence and deliberately drawing their attention to her arrival.
The surveillance footage didn't record any sound, but judging from the young people's lip movements, they were probably asking something like, "Who are you? What do you want?"
After all, this is White Eagle. Seeing someone who deliberately conceals their appearance and has their hands in their pockets walking towards them would definitely make them instinctively afraid. Who knows, the other person might give them a performance of American Iaijutsu or something.
AK15 quickly approached them, his hand slowly being pulled out of his pocket. The young men hurriedly moved aside, looking as if they were about to leave.
......
"Leave the equipment, you can leave."
"AK15 said coldly, without any hesitation," AK15 said.
The young man backed away while forcing a smile, saying, "I'm sorry, ma'am, we didn't know this area was under your jurisdiction. We can..."
Before the other person could finish speaking, AK15 immediately pulled the pistol out of his pocket and pointed it at him.
"I'll say it again, leave the equipment, or you all leave together..."
"Uh!"
Knowing that the other party was serious, the three young men quickly placed their laptops, which they were still using, on the lid of the trash can and hurriedly left the alley.
"..."
"Take out all the memory modules, chips, hard drives, and so on."
MDR's voice came through the AK15's earpiece, indicating that the other party had some other purpose.
But AK15 glanced at the code on the screens of the three laptops and said coldly.
"...That's too much trouble."
Then, he picked up one of them, slammed it hard on his knee, and threw it into the trash can.
The remaining two laptops also fell victim to the AK15's malice. Not only were they smashed, but the AK15 also removed the hardware, crushed it by hand, and threw it all into the trash can, leaving no reusable parts behind.
MDR's somewhat distressed voice came through the earphone again: "Hey, don't do that. Those machines are high-end stuff, you know. I can still use them myself or something. Oh well... whatever."
Even if she had opinions, she didn't dare to mention them to AK15, after all, she had some idea of what kind of guy AK15 was.
The commander will provide you with the equipment, so you can do without these secondhand items.
After finishing his task, AK15 glanced at a surveillance camera high up in the alley, then pulled his hat brim down and left.
Unfortunately, Luo Fan was asleep and didn't see AK15's swift and decisive maneuver. Otherwise, Luo Fan, who likes AK15's cool and sophisticated style, would definitely have been completely blown away by her coolness.
"Let's go, it's all done, it's time to go back. I need to go back and get some more sleep..."
MDR packed up her laptop and jumped off the roof of the car with 45, thus marking the completion of their back alley surveillance installation task.
MDR just wanted to go back to sleep. He'd barely woken up when Luo Fan woke him up to work, which was really annoying. He'd been hoping for a good morning kiss or something...
Poll (Updated today)
As the title suggests, yesterday's round of events affected my mood and made me rethink things. There are still quite a few characters I plan to write about, with Jill (the bartender) and Helian being the most recent ones. However, I'm really worried that the pace might be too slow and too much daily life, which might make people unhappy. So, I'm starting a poll.
If I want to push the plot forward quickly, I'll introduce the main female lead, then stop writing about Jill and Helian, and start working on the main storyline. Alternatively, I'll continue writing about them, then do some daily life scenes before introducing the female lead and preparing for the main storyline. But even if I write about them, they'll both appear together, otherwise the word count would be too high, and I can't waste everyone's cat coins like that.
Let's begin. 1. Don't write about them; prepare for the female lead and the main storyline. 2. Write about them, let them all appear together, then proceed with the final slice-of-life segment, introduce the female lead, and begin the main storyline.

I went to the hospital again and brought back a bunch of medicine. Several days of going to school while sick and writing have really taken a toll on my body. If this continues, I won't be able to go to school at all, so...
Another idea is, would you guys like to see ship girls?
Actually, I already have some ideas about this, I just wanted to ask everyone.
Of course, mechanical dragons will definitely not be written, at least not now, otherwise the power levels would be inconsistent.
As usual, 1 think, 2 don't.

That's it, let me rest for a while. I'm already full just from taking medicine.
Casual conversation during illness
Actually, when it comes to writing about ship girls, I can only write a few, very few, and mechanical dragons won't appear in this book.
They will only use the ship cannons and other weapons that come with their original prototypes. There will be times in the story when heavy firepower is needed, but their firepower will not be abused, and there will be no concept of the Mind Cube. They are just ship girls.
With Rosalia's appearance, I believe some readers have already realized what kind of enemies the protagonist will face further down the line. (Of course, this doesn't mean Rosalia is an enemy.)
Personally, I prefer the Ironblood ship; it's really cool. I just don't know if the "scumbag fox" mentioned by a reader in the thread refers to Huang Yuan or Jiang Feng. But I quite like Jiang Feng; I feel like I could write a story about him...
If you have any requests, feel free to suggest them. I may not be able to write them, but you can suggest them and I'll take a look. However, I'll still focus on my own XP.
Also, last night I conceived an even longer storyline. At the end of this book and the point where it connects to the next sequel, there will be a longer side story about the protagonist's ( ).
I really, really love this part, I love it so much, but I'm really afraid that you all won't stick with me until that part.
I think the word "plead" is appropriate. I truly hope everyone can stay with me until the very end. I'm not here to make easy money; I genuinely value this book, and I hope you can all stay with me until the very end, to the epilogue. I really love that part; it's a story about one of Luo Fan's family members, not his parents. In my own words, it's a sweet and fun slice-of-life story, different from Luo Fan's stories with the dolls, and it connects to the sequel to some extent.
But I sincerely hope that everyone can read this far and stay with me until the end. Please.
I love this side story so much, it's just a pity that it will take quite a while to write it...
I hope everyone can stay excited and get there.
Return the patient and report the situation.
After doing some research with other members in the group and some time thinking about it, regarding writing about ship girls, emmmmm...
It's all settled now; we'll only write about Jiang Feng.
Aircraft carriers are too powerful to write about, and other characters are too powerful to write about either. Jiang Feng is the only character that is relatively easy to balance as a destroyer. Moreover, Jiang Feng's words actually touched me quite a bit, especially his voice lines, which can play a significant role in the later plot.
From initially not believing in dreams, to being willing to help the protagonist realize his dream, and then... the parts I will write myself later, will have a great connection and influence.
Okay, that's all. I just wanted to report that I'm still sick and need to go for an IV drip tonight.
I'll come back when I'm feeling better.
273 First Awakening
That night, consciousness began to reclaim its place in his mind, and the man lying on the bed finally made some movements.
Struggling to his feet in a blurry chaos, Luo Fan's five senses had not yet fully recovered. Opening or closing his eyes seemed to make no difference at this moment; the darkness would not change in essence.
He couldn't see the scene in front of him clearly, but he could still remember what happened before he went to sleep.
I had a severe migraine, then Rosalia arrived, gave me some kind of liquid to drink, which relieved the headache, then I felt sleepy, and went back to my room to rest alone.
"Did I sleep for that long?"
Although the curtains were drawn, the darkness in the room was strong enough evidence to support its existence.
