Chapter 712, Floor 94 (14)

Hundreds of out-of-control mechanical sentinels and bio-mechanical hybrids, arranged in a circle, surrounded the liquid metal humanoid. Their eyes flashed with a cold red light, and their weapons and equipment were fully charged, radiating powerful energy fluctuations. The sounds of machinery churning and the roars of the creatures intertwined, creating a chilling noise that sounded particularly jarring in the deathly silence of the ruins. They didn't attack immediately, but silently circled the liquid metal humanoid, as if observing its movements, or perhaps gathering strength for a deadly siege. After all, they had witnessed the power of this liquid metal humanoid and knew that acting alone was no match for it; only by gathering together and launching a large-scale attack could they have a chance to destroy it.

The liquid metal humanoid remained motionless, maintaining its original posture. Its simulated head continued to rapidly rotate left and right, observing every enemy in its vicinity and searching for the unknown target, without the slightest fear or impatience. The liquid metal on its surface continued to flow rapidly, shimmering with a cold metallic luster, as if ready to face any enemy attack, whether it be hundreds of enemies or even more powerful adversaries, it could handle them with ease, without the slightest pressure.

Finally, after a silence of about ten seconds, a ferocious roar suddenly shattered the brief calm. It was the largest bio-mechanical hybrid, seemingly the leader of the enemy group. It was over seven meters long and about three meters tall, its entire body covered in thick black scales and golden alloy armor. The scales were incredibly hard, and the alloy armor gleamed with a cold, chilling light, providing astonishing defensive capabilities. Its head resembled a giant crocodile, but it possessed a pair of red mechanical eyes that flashed with a ferocious red light, and its mouth was filled with sharp fangs. Its fangs are tens of centimeters long, gleaming with a cold light, capable of easily tearing apart any hard object. A large energy emitter is mounted on its head, capable of releasing powerful energy blasts. Its limbs are thick and powerful, covered with thick alloy armor, and its claws are transformed into sharp metal claws that can easily tear through hard alloys and concrete. The soles of its feet have anti-slip patterns, allowing it to walk steadily on smooth ground. Its tail is transformed into a long mechanical whip, with a huge metal hammerhead at the end, capable of easily smashing large craters into the ground with astonishing power.

Amidst the roar of this colossal bio-mechanical hybrid, hundreds of out-of-control mechanical sentinels and bio-mechanical hybrids launched a simultaneous attack, initiating a massive siege. Countless red laser beams rained down from all directions, covering the entire body of the liquid metal humanoid. These laser beams were incredibly fast and penetrating, easily destroying even hard metals and structures. Large numbers of basic mechanical sentinels, wielding alloy longswords, charged towards the liquid metal humanoid at incredible speed, attempting to slice and tear it apart with their sharp blades. Heavy mechanical sentinels, on the other hand, swung their alloy giant hammers, smashing them down with tremendous force, easily creating craters in the ground and reducing building debris to scrap metal. Simultaneously, their energy cannons continued to fire. A powerful energy blast was launched at the liquid metal humanoid; several biomechanical hybrids roared furiously and pounced on it, trying to tear it apart and devour it with their sharp fangs and claws. Their tails lashed out with tremendous force. Meanwhile, the giant biomechanical hybrid stood at the rear of the group, its energy transmitter on its head continuously charging, preparing to fire its strongest energy blast. At the same time, it slowly moved closer to the liquid metal humanoid, ready to deliver a fatal blow at the crucial moment and completely destroy this powerful intruder.

Faced with a massive siege from hundreds of enemies, the liquid metal humanoid remained completely unfazed. Its body instantly transformed; the previously maintained humanoid outline vanished, turning into a massive mass of silver-gray liquid metal, flowing rapidly across the ground like a giant ball of mercury. It easily evaded the dense rain of laser beams and countless alloy longswords. The laser beams, missing their targets, struck the ground and the wreckage of buildings with resounding booms. Deep scorch marks appeared on the ground, and countless small holes were blasted into the wreckage, sending debris and alloy fragments flying everywhere. The basic mechanical sentinels wielding alloy longswords missed their targets, crashing into each other; some were even smashed into scrap metal by the heavy mechanical sentinels behind them, creating utter chaos.

At the same time, the energy blasts aimed at the liquid metal humanoids also hit empty air. Some struck the ground, creating huge craters and sending debris flying; others hit the surrounding building ruins, blasting them into pieces; still others were absorbed or reflected by the silvery-gray liquid metal and shot towards the surrounding enemies. With muffled booms, countless basic mechanical sentinels were hit by the reflected energy blasts and instantly blasted into piles of scrap metal. Dark red blood gushed from the biomechanical hybrids hit by the reflected energy blasts. They let out shrill screams, instantly lost their vitality, and collapsed on the ground, becoming piles of wreckage.

The massive mass of silvery-gray liquid metal flowed rapidly through the chaotic battlefield, silent and ghostly. It sometimes split to evade enemy attacks, sometimes converged to deliver a fatal blow. A portion of its liquid metal suddenly condensed and hardened, transforming into a gigantic metal blade that slashed at a group of basic mechanical sentinels. With a crisp "crack," over a dozen basic mechanical sentinels were instantly cleaved in two, alloy fragments and internal wiring and components scattering and crackling on the ground, completely lifeless. Another portion of its liquid metal condensed and hardened, forming a giant metal fist that slammed into a heavy mechanical sentinel. With a deafening "boom," the heavy mechanical sentinel's alloy armor shattered instantly, its internal wiring and components completely destroyed. Its body stiffened abruptly, its red camera instantly went out, and then it slowly collapsed, landing on the ground with a heavy thud, completely lifeless.

Several bio-mechanical hybrids, which had been lunging at the liquid metal humanoid, showed no sign of retreat upon seeing this. They roared furiously and charged again at the silvery-gray liquid metal, trying to tear it apart and devour it with their sharp fangs and claws. But just as they were about to reach the liquid metal, it suddenly split into countless tiny silvery-gray streams, avoiding their attacks. Then, these tiny streams instantly converged, wrapping around the bodies of the bio-mechanical hybrids, rapidly contracting and hardening. With a series of crisp cracking sounds, the bodies of the bio-mechanical hybrids were tightly squeezed and crushed by the liquid metal wrapped around them. They let out shrill screams, their massive bodies suddenly stiffening, their red mechanical eyes instantly going out. Then, their bodies were completely torn apart, dark red blood and internal mechanical parts splattering everywhere, falling to the ground, utterly lifeless.

On the battlefield, chaos reigned. The sounds of machinery churning, the roars of creatures, the deafening explosions of energy blasts, and the clatter of metal shattering intertwined, creating a chilling cacophony that echoed far and wide through the deathly silence of the ruins. Hundreds of out-of-control mechanical sentinels and bio-mechanical hybrids were easily destroyed like ants under the onslaught of the liquid metal humanoids. More and more mechanical sentinels and bio-mechanical hybrids fell to the ground, becoming piles of wreckage. The ground was quickly littered with broken alloy fragments, mechanical parts, dark red blood, and scattered building debris, emitting a pungent, unpleasant stench of blood, rust, and the acrid smell of burning energy explosions.

Seeing its minions decimated in a short time, the giant bio-mechanical hybrid's red mechanical eyes grew even more ferocious. It let out an extremely violent roar, and the energy emitter on its head instantly charged up, launching a massive dark red energy blast towards the silver-gray liquid metal. This energy blast was larger than any of the previous ones, radiating extremely powerful energy fluctuations. It moved at incredible speed, accompanied by a whistling sound, and could easily destroy a complete skyscraper. Its power was astonishing. Clearly, it had been thoroughly enraged and wanted to use this most powerful energy blast to completely destroy the liquid metal humanoid.

Faced with this powerful energy blast, the silvery-gray liquid metal did not dodge at all. Instead, it slowly coalesced, reforming into a humanoid shape. Then, the liquid metal rapidly flowed across its surface, forming a thick metal barrier in front of it. With a deafening roar, the huge dark red energy blast struck the metal barrier in front of the liquid metal humanoid. The powerful energy shockwave instantly spread outwards, causing the entire ground to shake violently, as if an earthquake had occurred. Debris, alloy fragments, and concrete blocks flew everywhere. The surrounding building wreckage, struck by the energy shockwave, collapsed one after another, emitting heavy thuds. The distant skyscrapers also trembled slightly, and the cracks in their walls became more pronounced, threatening to collapse at any moment.

After the energy shockwave subsided, smoke and dust filled the air, obscuring the entire battlefield and making it impossible to see what was happening inside. It was as if the powerful energy blast had completely destroyed the liquid metal humanoid. The giant bio-mechanical hybrid let out a ferocious roar, its red mechanical eyes flashing with triumphant red light. It slowly moved towards the center of the smoke and dust, wanting to confirm whether the liquid metal humanoid had been completely destroyed.

But at that moment, a silver-gray figure suddenly burst out of the smoke and dust, moving with incredible speed like a streak of light, and instantly appeared before the giant biomechanical hybrid. It was the liquid metal humanoid, still maintaining its complete humanoid outline. The liquid metal on its surface flowed slowly, returning to calm, without any damage. The powerful energy blast from before had not only failed to destroy it, but its metal barrier had absorbed some of the energy, reflected some of it, and the remaining energy had been completely neutralized by its body, causing it no effective harm.

The giant biomechanical hybrid was clearly unprepared for this situation. A hint of surprise flashed in its red mechanical eyes (although it had no emotions, its programmed reaction made it make this move). It had no time to react and could only subconsciously swing its thick forelimbs, its sharp metal claws reaching for the head of the liquid metal humanoid, trying to tear it apart. At the same time, its tail also swung violently, its huge metal hammer smashing towards the liquid metal humanoid's chest, trying to launch a fatal blow and turn the tide of battle.

But the liquid metal humanoid gave it no chance. With a slight movement, it easily evaded the giant bio-mechanical hybrid's claws and metal hammer. Then, its two arms instantly extended and hardened, transforming into two two-meter-long, sharp metal blades, gleaming with a cold light. Simultaneously, its body activated its short-range dash ability again, increasing its speed as it thrust fiercely towards the giant bio-mechanical hybrid's chest. Two crisp "cracks" rang out as the two metal blades easily pierced through the giant bio-mechanical hybrid's black scales and golden alloy armor on its chest, penetrating its body and completely piercing and tearing apart its internal organs and core mechanical parts.

The colossal bio-mechanical hybrid let out a bloodcurdling roar—its final sound. Its massive body stiffened abruptly, its red mechanical eyes went out instantly, and its previously waving forelimbs and tail slowly drooped. Scales and alloy armor began to peel away, and internal mechanical circuits and parts fell to the ground, sparking faintly. Then, its enormous body slowly collapsed, crashing to the ground with a deafening thud. The ground trembled violently once more, sending debris flying. Dark red blood gushed from the wound on its chest like a fountain, soaking a large area of the ground and emitting a thick, pungent stench. Then, its body remained completely still, utterly lifeless, a gigantic pile of wreckage.

With the fall of the giant biomechanical hybrid, the remaining dozens of out-of-control mechanical sentinels and biomechanical hybrids descended into utter chaos. Without their leader, some continued their frenzied attacks, while others began to flee in all directions, trying to escape this terrifying battlefield and this powerful intruder. But the liquid metal humanoid gave them no chance to escape. Its body once again transformed into a massive mass of silver-gray liquid metal, flowing rapidly across the battlefield, chasing after the fleeing enemies. Each convergence and hardening delivered a deadly attack; each slash and blunt strike utterly destroyed an enemy.

Minutes later, the battlefield returned to complete calm. Hundreds of out-of-control mechanical sentinels and bio-mechanical hybrids had been utterly destroyed by the liquid metal humanoid, leaving no survivors. The ground was littered with shattered alloy fragments, mechanical parts, dark red blood, and the massive remains of the giant bio-mechanical hybrid, as well as the remains of countless basic, heavy mechanical sentinels, and bio-mechanical hybrids. The entire battlefield was a scene of utter devastation. The air was thick with the pungent stench of blood, rust, and the acrid smell of an energy explosion. Smoke and dust still lingered, obscuring the dim sky and making the ruins appear even more eerie and desolate.

The liquid metal humanoid once again coalesced from the silvery-gray liquid into a humanoid outline. The liquid metal on its surface flowed slowly, returning to calm, undamaged, as if the massive attack had been a trivial matter, having had no effect whatsoever. Its simulated head rapidly turned left and right, carefully observing its surroundings, searching for the target it had been seeking. Confirming that there were no remaining enemies and no trace of its target, it lifted its feet again and continued its steady advance, stepping directly over the debris and bloodstains on the ground, venturing deeper into the core area.

Its steps remained even, its pace slow, its figure moving silently through the dim ruins like a ghost, unimpeded. It passed beneath the broken sky corridor, traversed streets stained with blood and debris, and crossed piles of building rubble, heading towards the tallest and most intact skyscraper ahead.
