Chapter 149 Vegeta Escapes

Frieza and Zarbon rushed into the treatment room in a panic, only to find it in complete disarray, with equipment scattered everywhere and parts strewn across the floor. Zarbon, you should know what the consequences will be if Vegeta escapes. Don't blame me for being ruthless and killing you without mercy."

Upon hearing this, Zarbon's body jolted, a flicker of fear crossing his eyes. Knowing Frieza's methods all too well, and to save his own life, Zarbon frantically increased his speed, searching everywhere for Vegeta's whereabouts. His figure flashed and darted through the air, frantically searching like a headless fly. At this moment, he had focused all his energy on finding Vegeta, daring not to slacken his efforts in the slightest.

While the two flew out to search for Vegeta, Vegeta silently hid behind a pillar in the treatment room. He peeked out, watching the direction the two had gone, a sly smile on his face, thinking to himself, "Great, Frieza's here too. This is truly a stroke of luck." Once he was sure their attention was focused on the outside of the spaceship, Vegeta crouched low, swiftly slipped out from behind the pillar, and then dashed away like a nimble cheetah.

Not only have my injuries healed, but my strength has also increased significantly, and I've even found the five Dragon Balls." He cautiously peeked out, quickly glancing down the corridor. A daring plan instantly formed in his mind, and he muttered to himself, "Alright, let's do it. This time, it's bound to succeed!"

Immediately afterward, Vegeta suddenly yelled at the top of his lungs towards the treatment room, "Hey, you bunch of idiots, you've been fooled! I never actually left the spaceship; I've been hiding inside the whole time!"

Frieza stared at the raging fire, his eyes filled with anger and urgency. He rushed toward the fuel chamber without thinking, roaring, "Where's Vegeta? Where is Vegeta?" Zarbon was also frantically searching for Vegeta.

Suddenly, Frieza seemed to realize something, his expression changed, and he exclaimed, "Could it be that Vegeta's goal from the beginning was the Dragon Balls?" After saying that, he and Zarbon exchanged a glance, immediately understood each other, and the two of them ran towards Frieza's rest room without stopping.

At that moment, Vegeta, seeing his plan succeed, smirked smugly. He turned and unleashed a powerful shockwave at the wall of Frieza's rest room, instantly shattering it with a loud crash.
